TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Terms and Conditions of Collaborating with Slimeaholic Company Limited (English Version)


Point of Confirmation via Electronic or Verbal Means


Dear Organisations, Organisers, Collaborators, or Parents (altogether the “Client(s)”),


Please study carefully and confirm that you will observe the following terms and conditions. Once confirmation is made via electronic messages or verbal exchanges, the terms and conditions below are deemed effective:

 

1. Event Duration

Each Slimeaholic-hosted slime party session is 90 minutes, unless otherwise specified in the separate quotation provided.


2. Late Charges

If the party extends beyond the allotted time due to delays caused by the Clients or their guests, an additional charge of HK$500 will be incurred for each additional 30-minute period. This late fee is non-negotiable and will be calculated and applied at the end of the session. 


3. Start Time

The session’s duration begins at the scheduled start time as confirmed by Slimeaholic, regardless of the actual arrival time of participants.  Slimeaholic will be entitled to full compensation regardless of any non-arrivals or delayed arrivals of participants of the Client. To ensure the best experience, Slimeaholic recommends all participants arrive on time. In case of late arrivals, Slimeaholic will make reasonable efforts to accommodate participants, but cannot guarantee a full experience (e.g., missing certain segments or content), and the session will proceed as per the original schedule.


4. Delays by Slimeaholic

If the session overruns due to Slimeaholic’s cause, no additional charges will apply to the Client.


5. Materials and Setup

Slimeaholic will provide all necessary materials and setup for the event. Clients are responsible for ensuring the agreed space is available and prepared before the scheduled start time.


6. Confirmation

All terms are binding once confirmed by the Client via electronic communication or verbal agreement. This includes adherence to all timing, payment, and logistical arrangements outlined above. Clients must confirm the event details (including package specifics, session structure, and material scope) when accepting the quotation. Special requests (e.g., themes or interests) may be proposed after quotation or during the event, but must be verbally agreed upon with Slimeaholic and documented via electronic message (e.g., WhatsApp) for confirmation. Unconfirmed requests will not be included in the event scope. In case of disputes, Slimeaholic will rely on the documented agreement.


7. Supervision and Liability

Accompaniment Requirement: All children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or above.

Liability: Slimeaholic is not responsible for:

i) Any injuries or incidents occurring during the workshop or from playing with slime.

ii) Any damages or losses related to the venue provided.

Responsibility: The organization, organizer, collaborator, or parent is responsible for supervising both participants and the venue during the workshop.


8. Workshop Objectives and Right to Refuse Collaboration

Slimeaholic’s primary aim is to provide an enjoyable, stress-relieving experience. Slimeaholic reserves the right to decline proposed collaborations at its discretion, without providing a reason.


9. Workshop Reservations, Cancellations, and Changes

Advance Booking: Workshops should be reserved at least 1 week in advance.Changes and Refund Policy:No modifications to participant numbers, components, or ingredient compositions are allowed within 72 hours of a confirmed booking.Changes requested prior to the 72-hour window may not be guaranteed due to preparation requirements.No refunds will be issued after booking confirmation, as costs in materials, time, and resources have already been incurred. However, if Slimeaholic fails to deliver key components of the event as specified in the quotation (e.g., the DIY slime-making segment, which includes participants crafting their own slime and learning designated techniques), Clients may submit a written complaint within 7 days post-event, and Slimeaholic may offer partial refunds or compensation (e.g., discounts or gifts) at its discretion.


10. Non-Exclusive Workshop Environment

Slimeaholic provides a platform for stress relief and enjoyment. Workshops are not exclusive to any particular organization, organizer, collaborator, or parent.


11. Intellectual Property

All slime products, workshop materials, and instructions are the intellectual property of Slimeaholic. Additionally, any products created by participants during workshops are also owned by Slimeaholic. Participants, organizations, organizers, collaborators, or parents are prohibited from copying, marketing, or selling these creations outside of the workshops and may face legal consequences for infringement.


12. Staffing Provisions and Fees

Staff Ratios: One Slimeaholic staff member will manage workshops of up to 8 participants (or 8 participant pairs for younger children with adult supervision). 2 staff members are required for up to 15 participants/pairs, and 3 for up to 20 participants/pairs.

Staffing Costs: Each staff member costs HK$200 per workshop. Slimeaholic reserves the right to determine the number of staff necessary for each workshop.


13. Media and Promotional Materials

Slimeaholic may capture and use photos or videos from workshops for promotional purposes on social media and other media platforms. Venue layout, decorations, and participant images may be included. Participants or collaborators who object to this usage must express their objection in advance; otherwise, no additional consent will be sought.


14. Pricing & Payment Terms

Deposit Requirement: For quotations of HK$5,000 or above, a deposit of HK$5,000 is required before 2 days of confirmation. For quotations below HK$5,000, full payment is required before 2 days of confirmation.

Final Payment: All remaining balances are due within 3 calendar days of job completion. Late payments will incur a 5% daily interest charge on the outstanding amount.


Outstanding Payment Follow-Up: If payment remains outstanding after 14 calendar days of job completion, Slimeaholic reserves the right to seek legal recourse for recovery.15. Remote Area Additional FeeAn additional fee of HK$500 applies for party locations in designated remote areas to cover transportation and logistical costs. Remote areas include, but are not limited to, Ma Wan, Tsing Yi, Aberdeen (including Ap Lei Chau), Outlying Islands (e.g., Lantau Island, Peng Chau, Cheung Chau, Lamma Island), and remote New Territories areas (e.g., Sai Kung, Tai Po, Yuen Long, Tuen Mun, areas north of Sha Tin, Fanling, Sheung Shui). The fee will be confirmed at the time of booking and included in the final invoice. Clients are responsible for providing accurate location details to determine applicability of this fee.16. Violation of Terms and ConditionsIf the Client or venue users violate any of these Terms and Conditions, Slimeaholic Company Limited reserves the right to cancel or terminate services without any legal liability, including but not limited to non-refunded payments or compensation. Slimeaholic further reserves the right to pursue any legal remedies for such violations. In case of any disputes, Slimeaholic Company Limited retains the final decision-making authority.
